did shooting start today? was it postponed? what's going on? jefferson's apparently at work, so this whole "fred barnes fred barnes" thing must not be too important to him. but i thought someone said the shoot started today. well if it did, good luck topo i hope things go well and the movie turns out good even though i made some really good suggestions that no one ever paid any attention to. jefferson obviously doesn't care about the project, so he doesn't need any luck from me. |

yeah, i was only in on the pre-production end. my work wouldn't give me time off and even if they did, i couldnt afford to do it. my sister is the new producer during production. |

haha. yeah, it sucks. my sister is very good at that stuff, but it seems like she's embarassed to ask topo what she should be doing and topo is too busy doing what he's doing to tell her what to do, so she mostly just sits at home waiting for topo to get home that evening. she doesn't know movies, but she does stage design and production management in theater. she could pretty much take on any task topo gave her, but so far he's kind of not had her do anything except some paperwork. the reason she's here is because i found out i wouldn't be available monday through friday at all until after 6 pm, which means i couldn't produce the movie after all. so, that kind of stinxxx. i would like to be there to help. |

it remains to be seen what will happen tonight. i hope it will go well. it will be my screen acting debut, as well as my first pantless performance. i guess theres a lighting problem now. if anybody can get it squared away though, it will be topo. he's a fast talker. |

i never get why you can't just film with whatever lights are available where you're filming. just turn the lights on and start filming. but what do i know. what scene are you shooting? who took your pants? |

i took my own pants in the scene.
we could, but it wouldn't look very good. it would be dark in places we wanted it to be bright and the quality of the picture would wind up looking like grandma's home movies if its not lit properly since its video. |

just get one of those halogen lamps with dimmer switches on them. you want a little light, you turn it up a little. you want a lot of light, you turn it up a lot.

i dont know anything about the lights. i hope that it will all work out. last i heard, there was some kind of problem that either they'd be too expensive or tough to get and that we couldn't shoot without them. too bad i'm stuck here. i am very curious whats going on. i called my sister and she hasn't heard from topo either. i'll keep you posted, jed.

yes, she should be. definitely. why isn't she? i would say thats an excellent question. at this point, its not my movie anymore. i had to quit fb for my day job, so its not my place to question topo's decisions. but it seems like whatever help my sister could offer productionwise have not been utilized even in the absolute slightest possible capacity. she likes to sleep in until 10 or so. i guess thats why topo has yet to include her in any of the production stuff so far, because landon and him like to get up at like 8 or 9. (yeah, landon and him. thats how we say it in god's america) |
